Our team of 33 imaging
specialists includes 26 radiologists and 7 nuclear
medicine physicians, who work closely with our 260 staff
including branch managers, radiographers, nuclear technicians,
sonographers, nurses, typists, receptionists and technical
assistants.
Castlereagh Imaging is committed to
the provision of sub-specialist imaging services and has ensured
that the radiology group includes specialists in neurological,
musculoskeletal, genitor-urinary, abdominal, and breast imaging as
well as interventional procedures.
We are committed to providing

Services
Castlereagh Imaging has remained at
the forefront of medical imaging technology, providing state of the
art equipment in all modalities. Our three MRI systems
located at Westmead, Crows Nest and Edgecliff are 1.5 Tesla MRI
scanners and are fully licensed and Medicare rebatable. All
of our CT systems are Multi-detector Helical technology, with our
Westmead and Edgecliff practices offering patients and
referrers access to 64 Slice Cardiac CT. All of the
ultrasound systems offer colour doppler and are constantly
updated to reflect the latest in evolving ultrasound
technology.
Castlereagh Imaging was one of the first private practices in
Australia with MRI (introduced in 1988), and was the first in New
South Wales to introduce multi-slice CT scanning.
