Dr Ashton Reeve

Managerial responsibilities

Dr Ashton Reeve undertook undergraduate studies in biomedical science at the University of Queensland, publishing translational research in nutrition and molecular biochemistry and clinical MRI research in cervical spine imaging as part of his Bachelor degree. He subsequently completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland and went on to complete specialist training in diagnostic and interventional radiology at the Prince of Wales, Sydney Children’s and Sydney Eye Hospitals and the Royal Hospital for Women. He has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports imaging and has undertaken subspecialist fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging under the guidance of Dr James Linklater at Castlereagh Imaging. He has maintained an interest in clinical research throughout his training with publications in international journals and book chapters and has current research interests in osteoarthritis and sports injuries of the lower limbs. He is a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and past Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
