After graduating with First Class Honours from Sydney University, Philip trained in Paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital, and in Diagnostic Radiology at the Children’s Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and the Prince of Wales and Prince Henry Hospitals, Sydney.
Philip has practiced Radiology in a wide variety of settings, including as a public hospital Staff Specialist, as a Visiting Medical Officer at various public and private hospitals in Metropolitan Sydney and Regional NSW and in Private Radiology Practice for many years.
Philip is a General Radiologist but also has sub-specialty interests in Paediatric Radiology, Neuroradiology, Gynaecological and Obstetric Imaging and in Breast Imaging.
Philip also sits on the Council of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, the peak body for the practice of Ultrasound in Australia and New Zealand and is an active member of Radiology across Borders, a not-for-profit organisation which aims to provide Radiology teaching to developing nations in Asia and the Pacific.
Philip joined Castlereagh Imaging in 2017 and is the Managing Radiologist of its Cremorne practice.
