Dr Lai graduated and completed radiology training in Hong Kong, receiving subspecialized training in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, paediatric radiology and interventional radiology. He undertook oversea training at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in London (general radiology) and at Toronto Western Hospital, Canada (diagnostic & interventional neuroradiology and head & neck radiology), and has completed the renowned “Pierre Lasjaunias neurovascular educational team course” in Thailand as part of his neuroradiology training. He has also completed mini fellowship training in breast imaging & Cardiac MR in USA, and PET-CT imaging in Austria. He was awarded the Rohan Williams medal for his FRCR.
He is currently the adjuvant senior lecturer in the School of Medicine, Sydney at the University of Notre Dame Australia and was previously the clinical assistant professor in the University of Hong Kong. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles/book chapters and is currently the editorial broad member of several international peer-reviewed journals.
